How does my child pay for over-the-counter snacks and drinks?

The canteen only takes cash over the counter. Please ensure all cash is coins or small notes and is in Australian currency. We do not accept card payments at the canteen.
How can I cancel a lunch order on the day? +
If your child is sick and won’t be at school to pick up their lunch, text 0439 715 871. Include their name, class, and the days/s you wish to cancel. Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded after 10 AM on the day.
What if I need to pick up my child early, but they have a lunch order?

Come down to the canteen when you pick them up. If their food is ready, you can take it with you.
What’s involved in volunteering at the canteen?

You get to see the lovely smiling faces of the children! And it’s a great way to be involved in the school community.
The environment is relaxed, and the tasks are easy. Sandwich and salad preparation, stocking supplies, dishwashing, labelling food and lunch bags, packaging food items for sale and counter service. You can offer your time from as little as 1 hour on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, once-a-term, or ad hoc basis.
What food do you offer at the canteen?

You can view the full menu on the School24 app. We handmake as much food as possible on the day. All food, including hot and cold lunches, are available to order online and snacks and drinks are available to purchase with cash on the day. During the year we sometimes have special food days that may include items like pizza, pancakes and doughnuts.
Do you cater for special dietary needs?

Yes. We cater for special dietary needs and have gluten free options where possible.
If your child has special dietary needs please inform the school and provide them with your healthcare plan.
Who runs the canteen? +
Lisa, our wonderful, paid, Canteen manager goes above and beyond to create the best experience for our students. The canteen operates on a break-even basis, with profits returning to the school. We rely on volunteers to assist the Canteen manager - if you'd like to volunteer, email us today!
